Carrizo Valley Ranch
Grass Fed Angus Beef
Ranch Raised in Lincoln County

• This young, tender beef, free of hormones and antibiotics, comes directly from grass to you. The process begins by dry-aging the hanging beef for at least two weeks to further enhance tenderness and flavor. These animals come from a sustainable family ranch that has focused on proper stewardship of land and animals for over fifty years.

• You can purchase Carrizo Valley Ranch Grass Fed Angus Beef on-the-hoof now with a deposit, to be weighed and delivered to processing October/November of 2007.

• The price will be based on live weight (approximately 650 to 750 lbs.). You can purchase a half or whole beef. It will be aged, then cut and wrapped to your specifications.

• Grass fed ranch-raised beef is available by calling early (before Aug.1st) to add your name to the list (our supply is limited). We encourage friends and neighbors to partner on an animal if your needs are small.

• Please contact Sid or Cheryl Goodloe to discuss your order or questions by calling (505) 354-2379 or through Internet via E-mail at carrizovalleyranch@yahoo.com

After 51 years of stewardship, today Carrizo Valley Ranch is a model of planned grazing, watershed rehabilitation, wildlife habitat enhancement and forest health. Our Alpine Black cattle fit this environment. They are bred for marketability without hormones or antibiotics and are fed on native grasses and browse. Holistic management and rotational grazing not only produce high quality natural beef, but play a vital role in healing a debilitated landscape, restoring the watershed and supporting wildlife.

You are welcome to take advantage of our grass fed beef, getaways and learning opportunities offered by Carrizo Valley Ranch.

A visit to the Ranch provides an opportunity to learn how holistic management works on the ground resulting in an economically and ecologically sound lifestyle … purchase ranch-raised grass fed beef, hand-peeled vigas or firewood … select a date for a group tour and Dutch oven meal or a private getaway.
